Further background:

Julia’s post-graduate studies in Health Promotion support her commitment to improving wellbeing in individuals, groups and communities. Julia’s passion for helping individuals improve their wellbeing and understand the broader contributors to health and wellness have been key threads in her professional life.

Her work is supported by her long-time interest in meditation and Buddhist philosophy. She has a deep curiosity about how mind and attention can be employed in effecting positive change in the body and also the mind and how Feldenkrais and meditation can inform and support development of the other.

Julia has taught meditation to individuals and groups over many years. In her experience, meditation contributes positively to health & wellbeing and enables a deeper and healthier connection to self and others. She completed meditation teacher training in 2010. She has also worked as a therapist with The Gawler Foundation in their Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and Wellness programs over a number of years.
